COURSE TITLE: INTRO TO PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course will provide students with a solid foundation for understanding the fundamental concepts of programming languages. It will include coverage of concepts and constructs from languages like Android, C#, JAVA™, JavaScript™, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, XHTML, XSLT, and JSP.
COURSE TITLE: WEB PAGE DESIGN
Grades 10-12; 1 credit
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Students are introduced to multimedia functions and projects, including the types of multimedia production, how multimedia affects society, and the components and tools that are used to produce a multimedia product. Students will have the opportunity to use digital cameras, digital video cameras and scanners. Students will master web page design using Dreamweaver software, and how to create web sites with color, text, graphics, sounds, animation and video. They will also learn correct formatting techniques that make web pages appealing to the viewers. Students are eligible to be members of the DECA Club.
