Accounting I – (MISO3- 14010)
Grades 10-12; 18 weeks; .1/2 credit
Course Description: A study of topic in financial accounting including: the accounting cycle forms of business organizations, assets, liabilities, owner’s equity, and financial statement preparation and analysis. Students will work with manual accounting system and complete a business simulation. This is a vital course for any student who desires to gain a better understanding of how businesses function and maintain accurate records of their operations.
Accounting II – (MISO3 – 14011)
Grades 10-12; 18 weeks; prerequisite Accounting I; 1/2 credit
Course Description: Students in Accounting II will continue learning the fundamental concepts of accounting. Topics covered include terminology, accounting cycle, basic concepts, financial statements, roles of accountants, and ethics in accounting.
