Our Student Award of Excellence winners for May are Porter Glynn, a junior at Ellendale High School, and Samantha McHarry, a senior at Oakes High School. Porter was enrolled in Agriscience Technology I and Agricultural Mechanics Technology and was also a member of the Oakes/Sargent Central/Ellendale FFA Chapter. He is the son of Jim and Ashley Glynn of Ellendale. Samantha just graduated from Oakes High School and was enrolled in Automotive Technology and was an active member of the SRCTC SkillsUSA Chapter and FFA Chapter. She is the daughter of Brad and Tokina McHarry of Oakes.
